This course Greek for advanced learners .Through power- point lessons and games learners will learn to read and write fluently . We will practise reading short texts and simulate certain dialogues . Learning will be fun through interactive games and activities , writing our blog ,diaries or postcards .

WEEK 1: GREETINGS -MY DAILY LIFE Learners get to know each other better . We talk about studies, everyday activities , weather and mood . Through flashcards and power point lessons learners speak and write about their daily routine and they learn the accusative form of the personal pronoun (3rd person) αυτόν/τον, αυτήν/την, αυτό/το, the demonstrative pronoun εκείνος, εκείνη, εκείνο and the possessive pronoun (plural) μας, σας, τους

WEEK 2: MY PROFILE We are introduced to expressing preferences and dislikes , saying about my skills (what I can do really well ), asking about preferences and favourite things . Through online games and flashcards learners learn and use verbs of conjugation B' - 1st class μιλάω & μιλώ, αγαπάω & αγαπώ and adverbs:
a. of quantity, b. of manner
α. καθόλου, λίγο, αρκετά, πάρα πολύ β. καλά, αρκετά καλά, πολύ καλά, τέλεια
In the end of the week learners will make a postcard presenting themselves( nationality , daily routine and preferences )

WEEK 3 :DESCRIPTIONS : Learners will be introduced to adjectives related to appearance and personality and thoroughly describe their friends and family orally and written . They watch short videos and look at some photos of real people and their descriptions and role- play dialogues with their classmates .In the end of the week they will learn how to give a detailed description of any person they choose .

WEEK 4 :DESCRIPTION of PLACES
Learners read small texts with small descriptions of places ( house, room , city / town , park and playground ) and learn how to describe objects and places using the verb υπάρχει ( there is )and comparative forms .In the end of the week 6 learners will draw one place and present this in class .

WEEK 5: NARRATION
Learners read small texts and are introduced to simple past of be (ήμουν ) and other verbs . Through role - play and interactive exercises we practise making small sentences using past tense verbs . In the end of week 8 learners will write a small e-mail to one of their friends / classmates narrating where they went and what they did .

WEEK 6-7 : PLANS and DREAMS
Learners will learn how to speak about future plans . Using future tense ( θα ) they describe what clothes , things and places they will visit in the near future .They have to plan and make a list of the things the will take with them on a trip to Greece . We pack our luggage and we go !

WEEK 8 : Overview and practice all the material

Learners who finished Greek 4 or are in an intermediate level can attend this course .All lessons will be based on interactive activities , role- plays . We will have fun practising Greek and writing diaries and e-mails to our friends .
